Who is Kactus
Kactus is the European platform for corporate event management: seminars, conventions, company parties, team building, and group accommodation. Born from the merger of Bird Office and Kactus, the scale-up now has 130 employees across six countries, lists 50,000 venues and suppliers in Europe, and organizes more than 3,500 events every month.
Kactus operates two models: a marketplace where 4,000 companies book independently, and a dedicated service for 70 key accounts, including 10 CAC 40 companies, Generali, Deloitte and Bouygues Construction.
At its helm is Arnaud Katz, CEO and founder of Bird Office. In 2026, Kactus is accelerating on two fronts: the European rollout of its key accounts and artificial intelligence applied to MICE. To make these milestones visible beyond its own market, the startup needed a structured communication strategy.
The goal of the partnership
Position Kactus as the reference for corporate events and MICE in France, by strengthening its visibility with decision-makers (procurement, HR, office management), business and HR media, and the specialized business travel and events press.
The 3-pillar Linker playbook
1. Build an expert narrative that goes beyond the platform
- Structuring the expert narrative around corporate events, MICE, business travel and new ways of working
- Defining the speaking roles of Arnaud Katz and Kactus's spokespeople, with a clear role for each
- Editorial stance: talk about market issues (budgets, CSR, AI, centralized procurement) rather than the product
2. Turn every announcement into media coverage
- Media relations management and targeting of business, HR, tech and events media
- International hotel agreements: press release on the agreements signed with Radisson Hotel Group, BWH Hotels and Minor Hotels, picked up by TourMag, DéplacementsPros and Evenement.com
- OpenAI integration: announcement of Kactus as the first European MICE player integrated into ChatGPT, covered by Voyages d'Affaires and DéplacementsPros
- Showcasing studies and innovations: the Meetings & Events Barometer, the FairScore CSR rating built with FairMoove, and generative AI in quote management
3. Amplify expertise on LinkedIn
- Designing and running Kactus's LinkedIn editorial strategy
- Formats: thought leadership, MICE trend analysis, sharing of press coverage
- Every press article becomes LinkedIn content, and every LinkedIn stance feeds the angles pitched to journalists
