HABS is a French company pioneering the decoding of brainwaves (brainwave decryption). Using non-intrusive EEG technology coupled with federated AI architecture, HABS translates signals emitted by the brain to create a "Cognitive Persona" : a personalized digital model capable of extracting NeuroMarkers (concentration, fatigue, biometric authentication, early detection of neurological diseases).
With major applications in cybersecurity, mobility, marketing, and neuroscience, HABS represented a technological revolution. However, given the sensitivity of the issues involved (brain data, ethics, regulation), the company needed to position itself as a credible, responsible, and visible scientific player with decision-makers, the media, and the ecosystem.
To achieve this, an ambitious public relations strategy was required to turn technological complexity into influential conversation.
Project objectives
Position HABS as a credible and visible scientific player regarding key issues surrounding the augmented brain, neural data security, and biometrics, by generating high-quality media coverage capable of legitimizing the technology and shaping public debate.
The 3-pillar Linker playbook
1. Structuring a complex scientific narrative
- Structuring expert discourse around neuroscience, brain-computer interfaces, cybersecurity, and biometrics
- Translating complex scientific topics accessible and relevant media angles
- Defining key positioning : innovation, security, ethics, responsibility
2. Managing a targeted PR strategy
- Media relations management and strategic media targeting (tech, science, security, innovation)
- Journalist outreach : expert interviews, thought leadership pieces, quotes in analytical articles
- Writing and distributing press releases for key announcements
3. Coordinating scientific and executive communications
- Coordination of communications for scientists and executives to ensure consistency and credibility
- Creating a compelling narrative centered on responsibility and ethical innovation
- Establishing a presence in the ecosystem as a thought leader on neurotechnological challenges
The results
After just 3 months, the PR strategy transformed HABS into a legitimate voice in the neurotechnology debate:
- +10 high-quality media placements, validating the editorial interest and the relevance of the positioning
- HABS identified by the media as a credible and responsible player in the neurotechnology sector
- Coverage in prestigious outlets : Challenges, BFMBusiness, Maddyness, Les Échos, Tech & Web, Comptoir IA, So Media, Géopolitique Profonde, Deep Techs...
- Scientific validation among decision-makers, journalists, and policymakers
- Guiding the public debate around ethics, security, and responsible applications of neurotechnology
Thanks to this PR strategy, HABS has established itself not only as a technological innovator, but as a thought leader in responsible innovation on the challenges of the augmented brain, neural cybersecurity, and cerebral biometrics.
